A Time to Humanize Business

Updated: Aug 9, 2022

As we look forward and prepare for a post-pandemic future, technology can be a source of tremendous optimism, it can help address some of our most pressing business challenges but most importantly it can help overcome some of the greatest challenges in our society: including climate change, famine, and disease.

”Every business and every entity has a mission to the world and has something to give back, regardless of how big or small.” – the role envisioned by Mariam Farag,

Mariam is a businesswoman, media specialist, humanitarian, and international keynote speaker. She is also the Founder of Humanizing Brands, helping businesses and media develop and implement global strategies and values for sustainable, diverse, and inclusive operations.

‘Re: Think – Talks that matter’ is the podcast that brings together bright minds, thought-leadership insight, and inspiring sustainable development actions. In Episode 4 of ReThink “A Time to Humanize Business” Mariam Farag, Founder of Humanizing Brands & Global Keynote Speaker joins us for a discussion about tech for good, women empowerment and how can we raise awareness about mental health.

”I'm a brand strategist, I get excited about humanizing brands, and I get excited working with brands that want to create a message with purpose but want to create an impact before creating a message with a purpose. So, businesses that are making money, are flourishing and growing, but at the same time are excited to give back to their societies and the markets and the communities that they flourish and grow in. ”

”A lot of women now are starting to see that with everything that's changing around them, everything that's evolving around them, they also need to evolve themselves. So, they need to start changing things for themselves. They cannot wait for governments and entities and policymakers …We need to do it for ourselves. If you want to change, make the change for yourself, if you want to be valued start valuing yourself. First, start negotiating your contract at the beginning of your interview or at the end, when you receive a package don't be scared to talk about financials, don't be scared to talk about work-life balance, it's your right, don't be scared to talk about your achievements. ”
